Syllabus for KG-1 (Ages 4-5)

The focus in KG-1 is on introducing fundamental concepts in a fun and engaging way, building a strong foundation for future learning. English Phonics: Introduction to letter sounds (a-z), identifying beginning sounds of words. Letter Recognition: Uppercase and lowercase letters (A-Z, a-z). Pre-writing Skills: Tracing lines (vertical, horizontal, slanting, curved), tracing letters. Vocabulary: Naming common objects, animals, fruits, vegetables, colors, shapes. Story Time: Listening to simple stories, identifying characters. Conversational English: Simple greetings, self-introduction, expressing basic needs. Islamiat Introduction to Allah: Understanding Allah as the Creator. Basic Islamic Greetings: السلام عليكم (Assalamu Alaikum) and وعليكم السلام (Wa Alaikum Assalam). Kalma Tayyaba: Introduction and simple memorization. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH): Simple stories about his life and good manners. Dua: Memorizing simple duas for eating, sleeping, waking up. Islamic Manners: Sharing, kindness, respecting elders. Maths Number Recognition: 1-20. Counting: Rote counting 1-30, counting objects 1-10. One-to-One Correspondence: Matching objects to numbers. Shapes: Circle, Square, Triangle, Rectangle. Colors: Identifying primary and secondary colors. Concepts: Big/Small, Tall/Short, More/Less, Heavy/Light. Patterns: Simple repeating patterns (e.g., ABAB). Urdu Huroof-e-Tahajji: Introduction to individual Urdu letters (alphabets) and their sounds. Pre-writing Skills: Tracing lines and simple Urdu letters. Vocabulary: Naming common objects, animals, fruits, and vegetables in Urdu. Poetry/Rhymes: Listening to and reciting simple Urdu rhymes. General Knowledge My Body: Parts of the body, their functions. My Family: Naming family members. My School: Identifying school objects, people at school. Community Helpers: Doctor, Teacher, Police Officer, Firefighter. Seasons: Introduction to basic seasons (Summer, Winter). Animals: Farm animals, wild animals. Fruits and Vegetables: Naming common ones. Quran Recognition of Arabic Letters: Introduction to individual letters (Alif, Ba, Ta, etc.) without sounds. Basic Arabic Vocabulary: Simple words like Allah, Bismillah. Adab (Etiquette) of Quran: How to treat the Holy Quran with respect. Listening to Short Surahs: Listening to Surah Al-Fatiha and short surahs from Juz Amma.
